"Painting a Path to Literacy" is a hands-on, engaging workshop designed for educators looking to explore how art can serve as a powerful tool in literacy development, aligned with the Science of Reading (SoR) principles. In this session, participants will dive into the creative process of designing a zodiac, exploring how storytelling and art can enrich vocabulary, comprehension, and overall literacy skills.
The workshop will guide educators through a dynamic, inquiry-driven art project that showcases the deep connection between visual arts and reading instruction.
